Phoenix is a highly flexible real-time transaction platform, teamed up with the MedAvant clearing house, which currently processes more than 850,000 real-time transactions in a day. Phoenix can process any type of healthcare transaction and connect to most healthcare entities, all in real-time. This means that claims, ERAs, and eligibility can be sent in real-time between providers, clearing house, trading partners, payers, hospitals, labs and clinics.

No more wait and see
With Phoenix, the veil of secrecy around reimbursements is removed. Instead, providers will know in seconds whether a patient is eligible for services before the service is delivered. Phoenix/MedAvant also checks claims for missing information, valid procedure and diagnosis codes, and payer-specific edits. When something is wrong with a claim, Phoenix tells users the problem and how to fix it for re-filing. With Phoenix, providers have immediate access to the information they need for revenue and cost management.

Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
Phoenix downloads the ERA file from the payer. With a few keystrokes, the payments and adjustments are posted to the correct patient's ledgers. Electronic Statement
Electronic Statement is a service provided by MedPrint, which reduces the labor and supply costs associated with paper statements. Customers send an electronic file of statements to the processing center where statements are printed and mailed. Eligibility Verification
Eligibility Verification gives instant access to a patient's health plan status, co-payment, and deductibles information using Office Hours. This service reduces the time your staff spends on the phone tracking down this information. Use of this service requires a Broadband internet connection.
