Notes:
- Wireless networks are not recommended for Medisoft or EMR network access. LSI recommends wired Gigabit Ethernet network access to a dedicated database server via a Gigabit switch.
- LSI recommends uninstalling Google Desktop, and other extraneous PC software from workstations.
- Firewall, Anti-Virus and other software designed to limit network and PC file access will effect Medisoft.
- Large Windows Font settings will adversely affect Medisoft - ensure Windows OS fonts are set to Normal DPI
- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition is not suitable for Medisoft or EMR software and is not supported.
- Microsoft Windows Vista Business Edition (32-bit) is currently the ONLY supported Vista platform for Medisoft and EMR software.
- Software for personal email, online shopping, IM, Internet radio, and other non-business purposes should be removed from any PC accessing billing or EMR databases.
